h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 I wonder what Archer's fashion rule is. Red glove today with whites. Blue with dark blue jersey? Red with red jersey? I don't remember seeing him use a red glove. Just that light blue.......
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Nice hit followed by horrible base running.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 “Can’t fault him for being aggressive.” - Morneau Yeah you can. That was dumb.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 That was just very ill advised, Gio.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Really poor baserunning. Nobody out.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 A play like that can give the Bosox a momentum boost.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Strike 3 on ball 4. Damn. If Urshela takes his double, and the ump makes that right call, and it is bases loaded with one out.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Following up on the GT intro, I read that 21 years ago yesterday, Sarena Williams won a match at the U.S. Open, Albert Pujols hit a homer and Craig Biggio, Vladamir Guerrero and Dante Bichette all had hits. Yesterday, Williams won, Pujols homered and Bo Bichette, Vladamir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette all had hits.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 It’s that time to get Archer out of the game.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Like clockwork. Archer rarely makes it through 5 without trouble.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Surprised he let him pitch to Pham
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Chris Archer - one of MLB's greatest 4 inning pitchers. One of MLB's worst 4+ inning pitchers.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 No one to blame Mr Archer. you r what you are
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 I've been over Archer for quite some time now.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Just nev er learns. Rocco's trying to stretch

Yup, Archer usually goes through 3 innings well, then falls apart. He's a long reliever taking up a starting spot in our rotation, just wish we could see what he could do in 2-3 inning outings in case we do make it to the playoffs.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Amazing that archer just simply cannot stop turning into a pumpkin in the 5th.
CRF Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Archer loves to hit the 4th inning wall. Never fails.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 What is it going to take, for rocco to figure things out. He can't be that ignorant.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Pitch com, the very definition of over complicating something that doesn’t need to be complicated

Archer has given up 2 or less runs in 16/22 starts. I think Rocco knows about when he's done...it's not like he is just being hung out to dry out there. Though, I would have pulled him before the Pham AB.
