So...what is this team? One day it's the pitching that doesn't show up and another day it's the offense that doesn't show up. Who is to blame for this?

A non complaining/negative assessment of the team is that they’re basically mediocre, playing in a terrible division. Beating the bad teams, overmatched against the good ones.

I guess if they're mediocre this year, is there any way they can be a contender next year? If there isn't, I have my doubts about whether or not Falvey & Levine are the right men to lead this team.

I think there needs to be a coaching staff shakeup. Rocco is probably safe but the other coaches could/should all be different next year.

I think more than anything Varela needs to be shown the door. He clearly has not been helping out this lineup
