We need better hitters AND apparently better hitting coaches, because this ground ball to 2nd offense is getting more and more difficult to watch with each passing batter.

Yep.  Otto has befuddled the whole lineup all evening.  But now he's being relieved with Gordon up in the 6th.  Hopeful.

If the Twins will not allow their No. 4 and 5 starters to pitch the third time through the order when they're having a good evening heretofore, the bullpen will be gassed in the stretch run.  A 6th inning for a Bundy or Archer in such a case is a prudent strategy.

But that goes against Rocco's analytical spreadsheets.  Therefore, it'll likely never happen.

But they will leave even Ryan hung out to be humiliated if they are having a bad day..... and go to 100. Makes no sense to me.

Miranda is looking good at third from my perspective. Not a first, but really getting better at third. That would be the best spot for him, too.
