What a monumental signing.  1st of all it seems to be a great contract, but that deal seems to be the one that helped us pivot from rebuilding to retooling on the fly.  If he didn't sign the deal he is traded and we probably hit the reset button.

Yep. It's amazing how one move can pivot an entire franchise for years and the Buxton deal is one of those moves.
