The Twins moved Sanó to the right side of the diamond in 2018 or 2019, but haven’t done so with anyone else since. Yeah, it really depends on the third baseman. Josh Donaldson of five years ago probably would have slid into the SS position in a shift but no way in hell is anyone doing that with Miguel Sano at third unless the team is quite confident no ball will be hit to him, at which point the better question becomes "then why is he even standing there?"
