This is now, what, the 4th HC since Sutter and Parise were signed? Quite the legacy they’re leaving in Minnesota.

Completely disagree with this firing since we climbed within 3 points of a playoff spot. It doesn't make any sense to do it now.

I don't think it should have happened, but I'm not stunned it did. A GM always wants to have their guy in there as the head coach.

 

Bruce might have had a couple questionable player usage things IMO (make some adjustments to OT and PP units), but he isn't why the team struggles. Sieve goaltending is probably the main one.

The only thing I can think of is Boudreau’s contract expires at the end of this season and it’s a mercy firing to start bottoming out.

Too bad the Jets extended Maurice just prior to Boudreau getting fired. I would have loved ot see Gabby coach the Jets next season. 

This one definitely fits the adage, good goalies make good coaches, bad goalies get coaches fired.
