What to do with Arraez?

Or the other possibility that we seem to be overlooking is that he cools off and it's decided that he needs more time at AAA.

That, I think, is probably the most likely scenario.

Yup.

As long as he is putting up RoY numbers, let him play.

He is lucky he is coming up with the team firing on all cylinders. Knoblauch had the same luxury and ended up being the RoY. Coming into the majors has to be a hell of a lot easier when the team is competing.

Think it is time to say good bye to Ehire Adrianza. He was fun to watch last year but you are having younger guys with better bats step up. Arraez has some versatility and is a better bat off the bench. I’m not as sold on Gordon as others, but I would be ok if he got a look (if an injury occurred).

I'm here to stick up for Ehire.  When healthy we have 11 starters to rotate through 9 positions (counting Garver and Gonzalez).   6 or 7 days a week the starting nine comes from these eleven.  The other two guys provide bench bats.   For the twelfth guy, I want a fielder that I can count on to make the plays.   Adrianza is that.   The alternative is Austidillo which allows both Garver and Castro to be in the lineup.    Arraez, while perhaps the better player, just doesn't fit the vacancy that we expect to have.

I think you send him back down. Once Cruz comes back and Gonzalez becomes a true utility guy, there are no AB's. Ehire can play once a week. That won't to do this kid any good. If there's any injury, then he comes back.
