Coming into the season I felt like our starting pitching depth was ok. Unfortunately, Mejia is on the IL, Gonsalves is just off the IL, and the rest of the AAA guys haven't been great (Thorpe, Littell, and Stewart). I'd say Pineda is inching closer to pitching himself out of the rotation, I'm just not sure who is next in line.

The league is going to learn that soft-tossing off-speed artists are giving the Twins fits. This MN team is going to have to learn to hit curveballs more consistently.

 

Would be nice to have a vet like Cruz playing today to steady the ship. The Twins have been playing great - no complaints - but I think they're missing that leadership right now.

 

Rosario's tantrum there is a good example of what we need to see less of.
