It's sort of like watching the 2000's era Twins play at Yankee Stadium, only we're the Yankees.

I feel so unclean.

I say we add 1999 Randy Johnson.

Buxton comes in to just behind second and reaches what would normally be a bloop hit at a brisk jog.

Twins win!!!

Pineda pitches well, the lineup finally wakes up, and Luis Arraez is absolutely fantastic both at the plate and in the field. We are now 32-16, and 6.5 games up. It’s May 22nd. This is insane.

Arraez is the team's Wesley from Princess Bride... "Nice homer and web gem, Luis, we'll most likely demote you in the morning...", every game until he's finally promoted to Dread Pirate Roberts.

That was a fun game.  Let's add Arraez to our known depth.  The lineup is fine, even with more than a few injuries.

And Pineda toughed another quality start, and the bullpen held up. I still worry about pitching depth, but the likes of Morin and Magill have been oddly effective.  Even if Pineda goes 6 innings and 3 earned runs the rest of the season, that has huge value as a our fifth, if not fourth starter.

I went to sleep with the Twins losing 3-0.... what kind of sick fermented fever dream are the Twins playing in?!?!? ARRAEZ had a home run?!?

We’re making Cahill look like Nolan Ryan tonight.

After the last few games, I’m starting to wonder if we jumped the gun on the whole greatest offense of all time thing.

See what happens when you speak to soon? ;)

If he's done after 6, Pineda will have had three straight quality starts and going back to his loss to the Yankees in New York, he would have averaged six innings and three runs in his last four starts. Not ace material, but not terrible either.

Yep. If a pitcher can limit it to three runs or less over 6-7 innings or more, they’ve kept the team in the game.
