Any reason for the Twins not to get involved in trade talks with Seattle for Jean Segura? Would be a great addition to the team and could slide Polanco over to 2nd base to fill that hole.

Segura has a full no trade clause.  His fairly team friendly contract would have to get renegotiated. It would likely end up a team unfriendly contract. He would likely wait for Machado to sign before approving/renegotiating a contract

Yeah, I don't want a better SS than Polanco who has a low OBP of .341 the past 3 yrs. It all depends on the price.  Gordon, Gonsalves and an A ball prospect enough? Much more than that, I say sign Iglesias.

Our "Gordon" still has to manage to earn a promotion to the big leagues before we would have to even think about it. I also would hate a guy for calling out a lazy player.
