stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Am I watching the right channel? I was looking for the Twins team that I saw last night. They're only good for nine innings. Unfortunately with home games, they got eight yesterday and one today.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 He has made some nice improvements at every phase of the game this year, even throwing out a baserunner or two, no reason he can't emulate Kirby's career just a wee little bit and add a modicum of power to his toolkit. He starts hitting more gaps on the fly and he creates even more defensive nightmares for the opposition. I've never been a Revere supporter. I never thought he'd cut it as more than a fourth outfielder. But I have to admit that his progress this season has been outstanding. He's even been taking a couple of walks over the past week.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Fien here? Pretty good chance that Montero will hit a tiebreaking fly ball, pretty small chance he will GDP. I guess Gardy is looking for a strikeout.

His throwing is a bit better (maybe D+ instead of F) and if he can find the gaps to keep OFs honest, I really don't care if he hits balls over the fence.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Rarer than four strikeouts in an inning, the M's had a chance to hit three SFs in one inning.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 OMG, but-but what if Montero gets hurt? The M's would have to lose their DH!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Those un-earnies really hurt.
TwinVike61 Provisional Member Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 So....does anyone know any good jokes?
