As I recall, he did that because the strap of the chest protector felt funny with just a single digit.

Well Carole, I was there also and my wife and I sure appreciated the ninth inning for two reasons.

A) sitting in the sun most of the game we were kinda cooking so when we finally got shade in the ninth my wife said next time we need to get seats in the shade. That breeze was sure cool though.

Right after I told her that English had no power, a Tanner English home run? Tie game? There are no tie games in baseball!! That was an interesting inning...

I actually had to leave before the end of the game because I wanted to visit my Dad and get to his place before it was too late in the afternoon. I’m hoping to take him to see some minor league playing tomorrow. And I’ll be taking my Mom to the game on Sunday.
