snepp Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Glunn is new to the whole smart phone thing....this was his first ever post from his phone. Sometimes there just isn't much to say.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 If my photo-editing skills were better, I'd have suggested the Milwaukee Bremers and pasted Dick's face into every player on a team picture. Where is Bark when we need him?
spinowner Provisional Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Directly behind home plate, 4 rows up, 4 blue Twins Daily t shirts. Un-****ing-real.Confirmed on the broadcast. Upper right hand corner of the center field camera shot.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 That section of seats is surprisingly sparsely populated. Plenty of elbow room for you.

drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Just tuned into the game to see Granite patrolling center field. Wanted to see Buxton, feeling let down
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Kind of a quiet thread tonight. As Yogi might have said, If people don't want to come out to a west coast game thread, nobody's gonna stop 'em.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 I wish we had a Corey SeagerWe do...He is in AA and his name is Nick Gordon.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 We do...He is in AA and his name is Nick Gordon. I don't think he's quite as a high-caliber prospect as Seager is/was. Seager's got a ton of power and is better defensively.
Tibs Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 We do...He is in AA and his name is Nick Gordon. Disagree but I am excited for Nick Gordon
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 ChiSux seems obvious. In fact, at Cubs games, one can get shirts with the '70s-style unis and the "o" changed to a "u."
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 LOL Jack, no way the D has a chance to get two on that last play unless V-mart is running to first.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 We do...He is in AA and his name is Nick Gordon. In support of a couple other comments, it would be surprising if a shortstop listed at 6'0" and 160 was any kind of comp for a shortstop at 6'4" weighing 220. Gordon is good but the difference in power numbers looks kind of baked in from the outset.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 And with that, it's time for this guy to hit the hay. Plan for tomorrow is to go watch some Cape Cod League ball - crossing fingers for some better weather than the past several days.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Or maybe Whine Sox, in honor of everyone's favorite broadcaster?Speaking of whining, now it's my turn. I was having a PERFECTLY GOOD DAY until you brought him up. Now I probably won't even be able to sleep. Thanks, "friend."
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Twins web site shows him on the 10-day DL.He was to be activated today, but a migraine kept him out of pre-game activities, so he will be re-evaluated tomorrow ... or something like that.

As Yogi might have said, If people don't want to come out to a west coast game thread, nobody's gonna stop 'em.It's just too late ... normally I'm a night person, up until 1 or 2am ... easily ... but I'm playing tennis at 8am tomorrow so ... will be getting to bed early.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Too Funny I see Glunn and Chief on every pitch. This may be the first time I don't actually watch the game closely because I'll be watching Glunn and Chief instead.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 You don't tell a career .500 hitter to bunt.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Hey Chief Tell the guy in front of you to take off his hat. I can't see your facial expressions. Better yet... Just remove it and don't say anything. Act normal
David HK Verified Member Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Only a short moment to check in while moving house-- but my gosh, Dozey- your team is struggling with RiSP, there's a huge hole on the R side, and they're pitching you outside.... Ummmm..... what's the problem here? Edit--- thanks Zack, for picking up the 'vet' I'm beginning to think I can live with the noodle arm....
