Always loved to sit and watch the interviews live, as my son went through the dealers and spending my money.

Still, a lot of fun on the radio, starting now!!!!

Sun is shining!!!!!!!!

Steh got his .05 seconds with Ruesse, to fill some dead air. Too bad the scheduled guess wasn't later lol lol!

I was listening and am very bitter.  Damn you Falvey -- taking Seth's air time is not a good way to start.

I was there during the Falvey/Pohlad/St. Peter Q&A today. I don't think it was being broadcast to radio.

Unfortunately it was all rainbows and unicorns in Twins land, with no substance, other than Jim Pohlad with a Sh-t eating grin on his face saying he liked Mike Granite because "he likes his last name", and also answering more than one question with "I'm not a baseball guy, but..."

It took all that was within me not to ask Falvey what he knew about working for an owner that doesn't know which end of a baseball bat goes in your hands, and how you remove the cancer from an organization that has been run like a country club for 20 years where no one gets fired, they just get reassigned and collect a salary for life. He seemed quite intent on being gracious to his superiors on the stage and talking about how great things are going to be in Twinsland. Sigh.

The interview was on Reusse and Judd's Saturday morning show on 1500.  They had interviews until 12:30, and yes, that one was not exactly enlightening.  Overall, though I enjoyed hearing the players talk.

The interviews are on the webpage, as well as the ones they did yesterday on Phil and Judd's show and Ruesse's normal weekday show.

I flipped to 96.3 to see if they were covering it at all, but they had their normal music.  I thought they had a presence their in the past, so I thought that was interesting, but I might have just missed when they were broadcasting.

They do some interviews at Twinsfest (a lot less than 1500), but they've never played them on the radio. I remember one year they put up a podcast after the fact, but that was just one year. Tried looking right now and couldn't find a podcast for anything, Twins related or not.

Always seems like a giant waste having them be the official radio of the Twins. I know Pohlad owns it, but it's out of place there and sports/the Twins take a backseat on that channel.

Not to mention having to listen to terrible music just minutes after the end of a game, when it should be hard core post-post game talk.

But it was a quality 0.05 seconds!!

And, the scheduled guest was Derek Falvey, so as I tweeted, I kind of pinch hit for him.

They shared a ton of interviews and other stuff on their Facebook Live page. It was good to see.

They were honest in their assessments, and there's zero reason to be overly negative about anything at this time of year. They have a lot of talent.

Zack Granite... and Pohlad mentioned that on Thursday at the Diamond Awards too. Said it was the best game. Said he probably had a new favorite player. Said that probably meant he would be traded. Ha! Talkd to Zack about that afterward, and he just laughed. Said it was nice to be known.

The owner being a baseball guy isn't terribly important.

And, why would he not be gracious to his superior, the one paying him. They can be honest and such in person. No need to do any of that in public.

There is a way to use nicety speak and at least acknowledge the organization is in the dark ages in many ways. But no use beating a horse.

Good thing you have a short name or you would have been down to 0.03 seconds, but those ticks of the clock? Quaility!!!!
