The formula is for Mrphy and Oturu to not pick up dumb fouls and Coffey has to play like a pro.

 

Oturu needs to learn a hook shot. He has the athleticism and strength, just no post game right now.

 

Also, great moment for Dupree McBrayer in a really tough time for him.

From seeing glimpses so far this year, a borderline NCAA team in a tough conference. The nice non-conference record will help get them in the Big Dance. Also Coffey might blossom into something special and getting Curry back may also lift them.

The Big 10 is a whole new world for power forward/center types from high school - I watched Oturu last year at Cretin and liked him, I think he'll get there. He's a freshman.

My last comment looks pretty bad now. That was a memorable win last night, and that should clinch a Tournament appearance.

I think they need one more win to be certain. They should be playing a lower seed in the Big Ten tourney and a loss in that would be a bad loss, so beat Maryland or win one in the conference tournament and take all doubt out of it.
