Pretty solid 1 2/3 innings for Tomlin there.  Solid in terms of throwing balls that hit bats, anyway.  Would have liked to see him stay in against Sano.

I have given up caring about the Twins. I watched that Vike preseason game Sunday, and the new stadiums is absolutely phenomenal, the defense was fierce, and it finally looks like Bridgewater is ready to lead us deep into the playoffs. I can't wait. Finally a QB of our own, not some import from WI! It's gonna be awesome. Who need the Twins anymore!

My Grandpa used to do carpentry work.  He was contracted to build something like an overhang, over a swimming pool, at Bob Hope's house.  He noted how Bob Hope's family would scramble to leave when he got home, and noted one time where Bob Hope showed up unannounced (and a week early) and got all pissed because my grandpa had equipment needed to do the project out in the open.  He kicked my grandpa's ladder into the swimming pool as he's ranting at him.

 

My Grandpa never went back.

 

He had a completely different experience when building a guest house on John Wayne's property.

I am of mixed emotions. I would have loved to pitch just once in the MLB. At the same time, I feel sorry for Albers, he is completely in over his head. But he can always he pitched in the 'Show'.

I wasn't a big Bob Hope fan, I always thought him smug. I liked guys like Skelton, and Winters. A little more sophmoric, (I can almost hear Vanimal keying in Skelton and Winters into Google)

That in a nutshell is the Twins. When Buddy comes back we are going to have 3 THREE Indy players on this roster. On a team which supposedly had one of the top MiLB systems in baseball the last few years and is in rebuild mode. None of it seems to make sense.
