Reviewing First Half Storylines

That was a painful, yet very worthwhile read.  Some of the early season issues have or are currently working themselves out for a variety of reasons, most of which have little to do with what the FO has done.  They've had their hand forced more than they've done the forcing.  Thanks for the write-up.

Overall, yeah, I agree.  I still have questions in my head asking if there were more things in play that lead to the call-ups.  They all seemed to be synchronized i.e.  Plouffe suddenly playing some 1st and DH, making some starts available for Sano at 3rd, leading to the call-up of Kepler to play RF.  Call it a backwards conspiracy theory

But however all this works out, I really believe it's time for a change in management.  New direction is needed, much like KC a few years ago under Dayton Moore.  And with that, a change in ownership.  Would be nice to see a more aggressive owner for a change.

I think I read somewhere that Pohlad said that Molitor would be the manager in 2017.  Did anyone else see that?  He did not say the same thing about Ryan by the way despite being given the opportunity. I'd be curious if anyone else remembers that .

If they hire a new GM, all bets are off, IMO

He's said lots of things and then backtracked on them later.  Hard to put much stock in what he's saying these days.
