My guess is that Dozier is the one that complained about the announcers being too critical of the team. Jack found out and decided, 'okay, I'm going to rag on Dozier the whole time I'm filling in for Bert. Let's see Dozier come after me.'

Jack, you should know this, the CF is supposed to catch anything he can get to. Buxton should have caught it and made the throw, like he did.  Nothing at all to do with Grossman's arm, has to do with the CF being in charge out there and taking every ball he can get.  And he just missed the throw.  He had plenty of time to adjust his feet, and he did.

In relation to the plate, Grossman was running the other way and is left handed.  Him making that play makes he have to stop quickly and turn to get it to home plate.  The logical choice was Buxton making the play, not Grossman.  But nothing to do with throwing arm strength.

that's Jack's thing.  has a hard-on for Dozier.

Geez, and I was concerned about the propriety of saying balls a few days ago.

Been a while since you went to a concert? It's cell phone flashlights these days.

Wonder if any symphony patrons break out their cell phones after a good performance. I'll try to remember that the next time I attend.

Gee, Dick breaking the sad news about David Wright of the Mets, and his injury troubles.  Seems they'll sit him down for several weeks.

Hmmmm.... they might need a 3B.   Hmmmm...  wonder where they could turn?

Hmmmmmmm.... maybe we can send them, um, let's see.....

Sano?

I'm old school.  I still miss my thumb burning.

And he was also the family-killing restroom attendant in The Shining!    So versatile!

Where's that lead gone?

I distinctly recall a lead last i was here...

It's not like the old days when you could leave something lying around and it would still be there when you got back.

No less an authority on the tuba than esteemed cartoonist Gary Larson agrees...

... Tuba is as old school as outhouses and gunfights.

Nolasco in danger of pitching his way below a 5.00 ERA.

Maybe there is something to these cybermetric peripheral thingies after all.

Why don't you steal sooner with Buxton?

Because we wouldn't want him to be too tired to bunt for a base hit in the 11th?

How mollie doesn't send Buxton is unbelievable.

How Molly is still the manager is unbelievable.

I'm surprised they got the double play with Buxton and Nunez being so fast. I guess Buxton should have stolen 1st, but normally you wouldn't be afraid of the double play with those two.

In less than a year I've gone from being unconditionally fired up about Molitor being the manager to just trying to look for things about the game he calls that don't puzzle me or just outright p!ss me off.

LaBombo.  I'm really disappointed you haven't seen enough games this year.  The Twins can't bunt.  They haven't practiced that yet.  Love your input but really....:)

Hit and run or steals are usually what you see with guys like that on base.  Guess not though...
