Or...Dozier = shift entire defense to the left side of the field.

In a game against another 100 loss juggernaut,   maybe Molitor and Brunansky could pool their money and bribe the opposing manager to do that.

Just one time,  even.  Three infielders and three outfielders to the left of second.   Just the first baseman staying close enough to the bag to field a throw to first.

Maybe that would finally make an impression on Dozier.    Maybe.

...

I must admit...

You are better than i am...

Meh,  blind squirrel,  nut,  etc.      I could be either of them in that scenario.

Hell,  I'm still trying to figure out where the tuba reference came from at the beginning of the thread.   Does it have something to do with the Rays player named Souza?

Well, that doesn't help

It occurs to me that your post applies to virtually everything the Twins players,   coaching staff,   and front office have done (and not done)  since Opening Day.

Sample was playing tuba on the street for money.

The tuba actually predates John Philip Sousa by a fair amount. :)

Well,  there are much worse things to do on the streets for money.

Like trying to sell your Twins tickets.

It came from the real world. It was what i was doing between sereptitious lookings at the cellphone with interenet capabilities... I came out a whole $3.61 richer for the experience. Now i gotta review the game thread and see what all i promised to learn to play...

Ahhh,  TD Game Thread.    Come for the shared despair that is Twins baseball,   stay for the music history! :th_alc:

Tomorrow night:    The legacy of Max Kepler's distant ancestor,    Adolphe Sax!

There's plenty of other threads for these types of comments. Game threads are supposed to be lighter, fun. :)

Heh.. Twinkie games are supposed to be fun, too, but..

ESPN Gamecast helpfully informs us that Suzuki is 1-4 lifetime vs.....   Rickie Nolasco.

Good to know if the Twins finally go Amok TIme on each other later in the season.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind too much if some current Twins came back later in the season as ex-Twins for a good dose of Amok Time.....  although, they probably wouldn't suck, then.

I had intended to comment on what appear to be deep and familial issues lurking in the psyche of 33 and her sibling! But then I read the Christopher Reeve/Superman/Horse comments, and it became clear that those matters, troubling as they may be,were in effect minor in comparison! :)

Always is your normal every day Twins fan. Just what are you implying?

I don't understand how a manager lets a starter give up a go ahead run in the 8th.

Any starter, much less Ricky Nolasco.

The run in the 8th was unearned, Nolasco had the Rays chasing all night. Molitor appeared to have a "hunch" with Nolasco and also said that Miller is about equal vs. LHP or RHP. ... plus they had PH options.

And most importantly, it appears as if Runzler ...err.... Boshers... errr.... Kintzler was the only guy Molitor decided was available in relief tonight...

He has just got to go.

Just. Got. To. Go.

Like yesterday.
