Not sure this is much of anything new, but really confirms he may be MLB ready right now. Makes the Hicks trade make even more sense if true (and they're right).

So if Souhan was so sure since last summer, that Plouffe was not going to be traded, he had to get that vibe from someone in management that knew. Which begs this question! If the Twins knew they intended to keep Plouffe, and they were very clear that Sano was not going to DH, why has Sano never had an inning in the OF! Souhan could be tooting his own horn, but it is beginning to appear that Plouffe was never on the table. Which still begs the above question. This is an odd orginisation! Btw, I know this was Souhans perception of Molitors opening day lineup, which is unofficial. But if Plouffe is your 4 hitter, then this isn't really a big change from last year!

I'm not sure Souhan got the vibe from the FO but it didn't really make sense to let Sano play OF last year.  He was coming back from a missed season, struggled for a month and was in the majors two months later.  I remember there was a lot of talk about moving Sano to AAA and playing in the OF but the Twins just promoted him straight up instead.  

 

As to Kepler, nice article to read.  Hope he's a star.
