It was fine. I actually like the setup with the family being what it is and everything.

Given some of the articles I saw written in criticism of the "fall of the cities" and whatnot, I am interested to actually see it happen.

I felt it was a bit of a slow start, but I'm really hoping they dish more on what the origin of the virus was. Along the lines of the most important single episode of TWD, namely the first season finale at the CDC.

 

Maybe that one kid can tell us more, if we ever see him again.

I will definitely be watching this sometime (probably downloading it a season at a time) but I am getting ridiculously busy and am reaching new pathetic lows as far as pop culture is concerned.

I thought it was a fine start, not eye-popping but engaging.

 

I wouldn't hold on to the hope of hearing about the virus' start.  Kirkman has repeatedly stated that he has no interest in exploring that angle.
