So Buxton will come back up in Hicks needs some DL time, right? We're not doing the whole Robinson thing anymore are we?

They have to bring Buxton up if Hicks is headed to the DL, I don't see any way around it.

Seems a lot of Twins fans hate losing to the Twins more than any other team.  Sets them off when it happens.  I don't get that because the Yankees are just another team and not even a division rival.

Because of what they've done to the Twins in the playoffs in the last decade.  Were you not around for those games, often lost in some ridiculously weird heartbreaking fashion.

And of course, that stupid rookie hits ANOTHER home run...and a multi-run variety.  God, our pitching sucks.

The problem with this game, even more than the Twins "troubles" and the Yankees "hate factor" is that is is 11:51 a.m. in Arizona.

As a fellow West Coaster, I couldn't disagree more.  I love day games starting at 10, and night games starting at 4 or 5.

Yeah, I was around for those games,  and yet I don't feel the need to shift the blame to the Yankees for our playoff failures.  What I noticed about those games is when we'd get the lead, we'd pucker up and pray not to lose as opposed to stepping on the Yankees throats.  Hard to win playing that way.  Like prevent defense in football. Those Twins teams seemed like they were in awe of the Yankees.  Gardy seemed to put them on a pedestal.  Then when we get the lead it's like, I can't believe we are winning against the Yankees, let's not mess this up.

I think a blitz is in order...

You're kidding.  This is a joke, right?

I picked the wrong time to start listening to this game. Ugh.

Add that to the Twins 'Picked the wrong week to...' file, right between '...quit using PED's' and '... let the bullpen try to hold a lead'.

Oh I don't know, it may have something to do with the recent playoff success or lack thereof. Were you not around in 2003, 2004, 2008, or 2009? Do you even Twins, bro?
