agree we should have taken a pitcher, but everyone saying BPA BPA or some garbage like that... That said, not sure I'd call him a bust just yet. Here's the reality... he's never faced this type of competition before, and he's likely doing the whole "wooden bat for the first time" thing. He may need to take some time adjusting. I hope he figures it out... #2 overall is a bad one to waste.

Maybe Buxton can take Hicks' place as the prospect that Twins fans absolutely demand produces immediately and unequivocally. He can have a year where he does some surprising stuff and instead of being pleased we'll point out the stuff he still doesn't do well. Then he'll start to learn some of that stuff, but not learn it fast enough for our sake. Hicks has responded kind of impressively to this honor in his first AA season.
