drjim Provisional Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 You'll have to give up a lot to get someone that has years of control and no question marks. Like, a lot......a ridiculous a lot. Would you give up the top 2-3 prospects for a decent, but not great, catcher?I would need more information.
markos Provisional Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I would need more information. What would you give up for Lucroy? In an attempt to mimic the structure of the Shields/Myers deal, what would you say to a Lucroy/Will Smith for Sano/Stewart/Meyer/Cabbage swap?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 The point was pretty clear, if you will only trade for cost controlled guys w/o question marks, the cost will be ridiculously high. And the supply very, very low.

Not even a question. His ceiling is higher than Lucroy's and he is 22 and controlled.
