The Chattanooga Lookouts had to have had one of the most productive offensive months of any minor league trio in history.  Kepler, Walker and the now departed Sano put on a show last month.  Each prospect had an OPS over 1.000.  That is special for one player on your team, not to mention 3 players.

WALKER
.316 AVG;    30 HITS; 18 RUNS; 7 2B; 1 3B; 11 HRS; 72 TB; 19 XBH; 28 RBI;             .371 OBP;    .758 SLG;    1.129 OPS;

SANO
.329 AVG;    26 HITS; 23 RUNS; 8 2B; 0 3B; 6 HRS; 52 TB; 14 XBH; 17 RBI;              .432 OBP;    .658 SLG;    1.090 OPS;

KEPLER
.364 AVG;    32 HITS; 14 RUNS; 6 2B; 5 3B; 1 HRS; 51 TB; 12 XBH; 17 RBI;              .472 OBP;    .580 SLG;    1.052 OPS;

Does anyone recall the last Twins trio to have such a stat line and / or OPS over 1.000+?

Here's one for you - May 1964 Minnesota Twins:

Killebrew      1.041

Oliva            1.136

Allison          1.000

Although I was alive at the time, I don't remember 1964.

I was hoping my childhood-favorite Twins trio had performed the feat. The 1977 Twins had three hitters that stood out, although none were pure power hitters. They didn't manage to have a single epic month but they rocked for the year. Here's their OPS for the 1977 season:

Carew:      .388/.449/.570 (1.019)

Hisle:        .302/.369/.533  ( .902)

Bostock:    .336/.389/.508 ( .897)

I would be very happy if the three Lookouts put up these MLB lines in the future!

For the season four of the top nine hitters in the Southern League (by OPS) are/were Lookouts:  Kepler (2nd) .973, Walker (4th) .940, Sano (5th) .918 and Buxton (9th) .840. Next on the list is Polanco (24th) at .745.
