I agree, having potential reinforcements is great, if they are used. I also agree, Mauer and Suzuki need to be better to reduce the fluky outcomes so far produced. I do have confidence Mauer can do more, and that DH can be better.

 

I also agree, improving corner OF defense does matter.

The "holding leads" part is the one that concerns me the most, I am still hesitant to declare Boyer a season long 8th inning guy, if Meyer could step up (or Oliveros) it would go along ways IMHO.

Yeah, it's nice to have Fein back but it would be nice to have another shut down reliever back there (I actually think Graham, if he stays healthy, can become that in a year or two).  But it's also a credit to Molitor that he's willing to use Perkins in the 8th inning (and credit to Perkins for doing it well).
