Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Now that you mention it, yes. According to Heyman, Hamels can be traded to: Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Cardinals, Nationals, Braves, Yankees, Red Sox, and Rangers But that's what 3 team trades were invented for right? Forget it. Hamels doesn't sound like a guy who wants to spend much time in the Midwest.(*cough*nolasco*cough*)

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 It's all about the future, just like Hunter and Santana said, it is always about the future. If the Cubs sign or trade for an expensive player, does that now mean one team has done so, so now it would be ok? I think the Red Sox just spent a boatload of money, does that count as one GM that spent big after a terrible year?
