Today wasn't a bad day for an afternoon nap, in retrospect.

 

I think the tigers had just taken back a lead when i nodded off.

 

And judging by the score, there wasn't much that i should regret missing?

I slept from 4-2 to 10-4.

 

All in all a good use of the afternoon.

I might be off by a few, but I counted 79 guys on base for the Tigers in this series.  Glad we got a couple of wins.

A game so bad that the umps would apparently rather risk hail and lightning to get it over with than suspend play for a few minutes.

 

Good rule of thumb:  if it's raining so hard that if it happened while watching your kid's JV game you'd run out onto the field and fireman carry them to the dugout or the car, probably time for a rain delay.

That deluge was over quickly though.  Looked down and it was hard to even see the pitcher.  Looked up and fans were moving down to the lower seats and it looked almost like it wasn't raining.
