Going on Tues....

Going to the game on Tues. Any updated news on whos going to get the start for the Twins?

Also, I usually park up at the MOA (coming from down by Mankato), ride the rail to the field, heard 35 has some road construction; anyone from around there know if my commute will be longer than expected?

Sorry if this is wrong forum for this post.

I just came up that way from the Des Moines area last week - so I can help with the roadwork part. There's a bit going through Owatonna on 35 - but that was really it. I didn't run into anything bad until I went further up 35E towards St. Paul, but that was leaving towards Duluth - nothing that would get in your way.

As for the starter, I believe Terry Ryan has hinted at who he has in mind but I haven't seen anything firm (or official) yet.

I'm a bit confused why it isn't Trevor May. Now, maybe he just pitched in the AAA rotation, but in that case we should have called him up earlier. May should definitely be in the rotation and all we have to do is option either Johnson or Pino.

He just returned from a monthlong injury.

When I come up from down here in Southern MN, I take 169 to 394 and have found it to be the best way. Parking is more expensive, but the traffic to get out isn't too terrible.

You park right at the field so you're on the road quickly and I've found it can shave as much as 45 minutes off the ride home since the train to MOA can take a long time.

(Unless there is some construction I'm not familiar with)

I went through that drive this past Saturday, and 35W was completely closed from the 35 split into 35E and 35W at Burnsville for some good ways North. They detoured traffic to 35E, to 77, and then back over on 494. Might only have been that weekend, not sure. I think it's the best route anyway, but you may have no choice but to take 35E to 77 to get to the MoA.

Thanks guys. Nothing like city driving to get the blood boiling for a Twins victory!

Good luck with the drive, it's a haul. (I know it, it's cut my Twins attendance down to one or two a year now)
