He has been continuing his rehab from his home near Boston, and he has been throwing while on Zoom with the Twins manager, trainer and others. He thinks that if the season starts in July, he will be ready to go.
Doctor Gast Verified Member Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 I believe we shouldn`t be too excited about Hill jumping into the rotation right away. Where we really need him is in the post season. We need to limit his innings, maybe use him w/ openers or have him close out some games when Rogers is not available.
howieramone2 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 Put him in the rotation asap to work through any surgery related issues.
nclahammer Verified Member Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 I believe the Twins need to get Hill in the starting rotation ASAP. You don't save something for tomorrow, when there's no guarantee tomorrow's going to come.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 As long as we’re on the subject, how are players going to rehab in the minors if there are no minor league games? Guess the geniuses coming up with their grandiose plans missed that one.
