  1. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If the bullpen is faltering why would that make a manager pull starters earlier?
  2. Ha ha yeah, but you know I never said I wouldn't have let him face one more batter. I said it wasn't a quick hook. I may have left him in, at that point it would come down to matchups etc, more data than I had at that moment. Same thing with pulling Jorge L in favor of DeLeon. That was a head scratcher for me that I would like explained to satisfy my curiosity. It worked though.
  3. Me too Luis was so fun to watch and hilarious on camera behind the scenes. One of a kind, but yeah I'll take Pablo. I like what I saw from him today.
  4. Obviously that is your opinion I just don't agree. Send a starter out to start an inning with around 100 pitches? If they walk the first batter and get pulled, I wouldn't call that a quick hook
  5. Give me a break. My point stands. It is clear as day. You would leave Pablo in for 120 pitches? Good luck with that.
  6. I foresee a pitcher finishing the season healthy and leading a team in the playoffs.
  7. Back in the day yeah 110-115 maybe, but when a guy is pumping 97-98mph fastballsi wouldn't go there. Pitching has changed drastically and usage should follow.
  8. How many pitches would you let Lopez (P) throw?
  9. Interesting to bring in DeLeon for another righty. Not complaining, but it must be about matchups? It worked anyway
  10. Lopez didn't want to come out but you gotta go after the number 8 hitter
  11. Gotta stick up for La Troy here, sometimes less is more and there are some good quiet times when he's working. That being said I've always complained about Morneau, and his incessant chatter, but he has improved and I've like him this year. Yeah Plouffe is good.
  12. Jeffers was on it, that jump was lights out
  13. Yeah I like Gio very much, but it was a smart move to sign Farmer instead. Gotta like Farmer as well, a couple of class acts
  14. This is not what Donnie Barrels was signed for, facing a tough righty
  15. It's hard to trust that Kirilloff is really gonna be healthy, knock on wood. If he's healthy, the kid can play no doubt.
  16. Lol, yeah right, but when that happens it's on the pitcher's shoulders at that point.
  17. Picked up Pablo after Trout reaches on a strikeout
  18. Your gonna want to temper your expectations up here in the north, lol
  19. Gallo is a freight train, block the plate? Nah
