    Got interrupted there, but I'd like to see the team go with the hot hand. They should make these adjustments quickly, on merit and without playing favorites. So yes I'd look for every opportunity to get the most impact at the plate from the catcher position.

    Vasquez has 82 plate appearances with 12 against leftys. Jeffers is at 36 and 22. So Jeffer's far superior OPS should be tempered slightly. Looking at their career numbers Jeffers has wider platoon splits and Vasquez, while hitting leftys better, is more neutral.

    I love joining in booing the opposing team. It is a way to rally around your team with other fans. The Yankees, the Dirty Sox, yeah baby fun times in the stands. Booing your own team? Now you are just that loud mouthed jerky guy in the stands. I'll admit sometimes it kinda funny, but not sure I want to be that guy.

    His interviews are about as dispassionate as you can get with short answers amounting to, ” I feel fine". Dan Hayes reported that last year the Twins wanted him to be more forthright about how he was feeling, to nip any small problem in the bud. Some of that is just the result of a new training staff that is trying to focus on better communication.
