  1. Isn't it true the Schoop's current hot steak coincides with being used primarily against lefties?
  2. Well there you go others were mentioning that Gibby looked gaunt. He's had digestive trouble all year and he does even thinner than usual. This could explain many things for him.
  3. Dobnak has the look of a long-term pro. It's the mustache, amirite?
  4. Very nice to see some pitching development from our coaching staff.
  5. Nice post. This is why I keep coming back, somebody has a thought and takes the time to look up some stats and put together a post that gives us all a deeper appreciation for the game. It's not just this post but others even in this short thread. Between this site and and an unnamed podcast following the Twins as the only ball fan in my house has been enriched.
  6. What I'm saying is yes we know the Big Mike will have trouble with his knees etc but if he is rested headed into the post season he could be one of our most valuable pitchers.
  7. This Gibby Bobo finally has to agree. I'd rather go to battle with big Mike or Odo or both
  8. Keep rotating that pen! Ease up on the back to backs I think we've got the depth now to glide through this portion of the schedule with our boot on the tribe's neck. no I'm serious.
  9. Per the Strib Graterol and Alcala are being moved to AAA. That could be quite handy this fall! Gotta like the aggression of this FO. With the way this bullpen looks right now you add some fireballers and push down Harper? Me likey.
  10. Batting Sano second; brilliant!! Love how this regime adapts and adjusts! They've done some nice work with the players, for example Duffy and May. Reinventing players, nice!
  11. Very nice win. A depth win. What I want to see is Rocco getting a win today without using Rogers, Dyson or Romo.
  12. Odo vs Minor tonight. Let's keep this rolling! This could be a tough matchup, but I think the squad will pony up. I'm ready for another exciting tilt, baby!!
  13. Right now I would have the Duffmaster and Mayday May ahead of Harper. That puts him at number six in the pecking order. We were up by three but if it was me I felt that was too important for number six. A guy like Harper is a bit gimmicky and you gotta pick your spots.
  14. Twins aquire a win! A couple of weeks ago it was assumed it would be Romo in the eighth and Dyson for the ninth. It will be interesting to see if Dyson can make that a possibility.
  15. This was great, thanks. I was thinking the same thing about how difficult tracking these pitches would be, damn. With the naked eye you can see how filthy Berrios is sometimes. The key for him is a strong finish this year. It will be fun to watch.
  16. Maybe but he didn't look comfortable and once they started him he changed completely.
  17. Our two most effective/efficient pitchers today had 88 mph fastballs. Maybe they won't figure Smeltzer out just like Romo.
  18. Perez has a 7.56 era as a reliever this year giving up 7 earned runs in 8 innings pitched with a 2.4 WHIP. Be careful what you wish for.
