  1. So.....so.... loooong. 1. Let the kids play 2. Whenever things are particularly bad... remind yourselves that the New Pohlad told us that they were prioritizing being competitive this year. That will make you chuckle to yourself, I promise!
  2. If so, this bullpen is going to be even worse than I thought... didn't think that was possible
  3. I'm excited to see the Kids Play this year to include but not limited to Abel Hopefully 2026 can be like the early to mid 1980s where a youth movement has the opportunity to begin the process of gelling into a contender over a couple years.
  4. "Minnesota must decide between a veteran former All-Star and a glove-first utility option." I'd say it is more like: 'Minnesota must decide between two fringe MLB players, neither of which would ever make a MLB team that was a serious contender"
  5. Right decisions but Good Lord this roster construction is horrible.
  6. Let's just hope it does not evolve into 'Bilateral Twins Syndrome'!
  7. Hopefully he moves horizontally to the bench with Culpepper taking over at SS by the end of the season
  8. This write up illustrates once again that the Twins' roster construction is atrocious. Trade Larnach already. Let the kids play ASAP
  9. Free Buck... Makes sense for him and the Twins to trade him at the deadline to a contender. I would love to see him playing for a championship contender and the Twins with more talented youth that better approximate the timelines for our next 'competitive window.' Given how unpopular this opinion is likely to be, time to ....
  10. Hill is 6'5" and only 165lbs ?!?! I feel like there is more to unlock by simply fully developing his man muscles/body which is encouraging!
  11. Their roster construction is already a mess... so why not?! As the initial cloud Pohlad subterfuge clears... we can all now agree that we have a Team with a gutted payroll with few truly impact players (Buxton and Ryan). No Tom..... you are not trying to compete this year. Silver lining is that his subterfuge likely did not have the intended impact... I doubt anyone really bought into Tom's desperate nonsense and bought more season tickets.
  12. Ryan, Buxton, Jeffers and Lopez will not be part of the next Contending Team from the Twins. We should get young talent for them that align with our next window. The past window failed... plain and simple
  13. Agree with all.. unfortunately there are 6+ million reasons that Larnach will be ceded the starting job if he stays. Not saying I like it, but that is the reality
  14. The title of this article could also have been 'Reasons That the Twins Will Not be Competitive This Year'
  15. Naw... Just Lopez, Ryan, Jeffers, and Buxton during the off season with a full, instead of half arsed, commitment to the inevitable rebuild... You know... before we lose the opportunity to get peak value because of .... (checks notes)... oh never mind....
  16. (Narrator's Voice) There is no hope for the Twins to lose this year
  17. But... but... he was in the best shape of his life! Quick question...if everybody works harder than anyone else in the offseason, would it be more instructive for TD to track down the anyone else and report back to us?
