  1. DET wins 1-0, though Bubic pitched great again for KC.
  2. Yeah I wonder if he goes 0-fer, whats the over/under on Lewis getting a St.Paul "vacation".
  3. I think the travel logistics was the main reason for the timing of the move.
  4. The Twins have attempted 1 sacrifice out of 516 opportunities, tied for last in all of MLB.
  5. Agreed, Larnach lost his GPS on 2 of those catchable flys . . . bad. I was thinking of Tuesdays 4-2 win where in the 1st inning Willi had trouble with Lowe's pop fly, circling it and finding nothing, plus further difficulties out there. Definitely way too much LF hijinx for my liking.
  6. It was Castro doing the Delvin spinaroo dance on that pop fly that dropped and had other issues out there also. A very WTF is going on with Castro kind of game.
  7. I thought I would look this up, and here is one for the ages: A ring on a batter’s thumb helps to ensure that the batter is poured evenly and smoothly into the pan. The ring also prevents the batter from sticking to the spatula, making it easier for you to cook your dish correctly. Make sure that you always use a fresh ring when preparing batters, as old rings can cause them to become thick and difficult to work with. If your batter starts to stick to the pan or spatula, try adding more liquid or Amend until it becomes smooth again.
  8. Paddack so dialed-in these last few starts.
  9. I'm sure the Sheriff would swing with gusto.
  10. Kody Clemens continues to amaze me. His swing doesn't really look like much but he puts the bat on the ball and sometimes with authority beyond what the swing looks like.
  11. Lewis has all the earmarks of a superstar except current performance.
  12. Agreed on all arms swing thing. Maybe his lower half is torqued, tweaked and scar tissued up.
  13. I see the offense is back to "what am I swinging at" mode again. We go through these spells of lack of pitch recognition . . . it gets painful watching.
