  1. Martin is rehabbing with the FCL Twins, soon to return to a Twins City near you.
  2. Meanwhile old friend Deitrich Enns just pitched 5 shoutout innings for the Tigers in their 8-0 win over the A's today giving up only 1 hit and 2 walks. The Twins acquired Enns from the Yankees along with Zach Littell for Jaimie "OneStart" Garcia in 2017. He was kicked to the curb by the Twins in 2018 and has bing-bong-binged his way around baseball since. Enns is 3-0 in MLB and all his decisions have involved the Tigers, 2 wins for Tampa Bay over the Tigers and his win today for the Tigers over the San Jose Orphans, uuuuh, the Athletics.
  3. The boys have to feel good about this one.
  4. That first pitch to Larnach looked awfully fat and he watches it go by (89 fastball down the pipe).
  5. Clemens swing doesn't look like much but the ball seems to really travel off his bat. Must be really catching the sweet part of the bat.
  6. Ok, Clemens is 2/3 of the way to a Gordy Howe hat trick with an error and a strikeout (just needs a home run).
  7. Man, there is something disturbing about watching that.
  8. So after 2 innings even though there is no score, you can see the difference. Seatle has already turned their lineup over and have their leadoff hitter in the third inning. We'll have the bottom 3.
  9. Hey just remember there were a number of articles and posts that suggested we trade from our strength of starting pitching for some hitting. The times they are a changin'.
  10. "Gillispie's struggles were primarily the product of him possessing five subpar pitches." That's encouraging.
  11. I thought when they signed him, ok, 2 weeks. But watching him play I hope the Twins hang on to him.
  12. Exactly. Duran had no idea where those pitches were going. When you beat yourself with your closer on the mound . . . not good.
  13. So the Twins announce they've extended Rocco. During an extended duration of horrid baseball. We don't know when he was extended but they pick this time to announce it. Great marketing.
