  1. It wasn't this last offseason, but I'm gonna go ahead and say Falvine.
  2. Sure, we're all mad at Weapon X for not putting the ball in play, but had he given them the lead they still would've turned it over to Rodney. And, honestly, watching him blow yet another game would be more than I could take.
  3. That would be my hunch, too. Although, maybe they saw "enough" from Hughes to move him to the pen and they'll call Romero up to take that rotation spot. Unlikely, but one can dream.
  4. Can we please talk about how unimportant the closer's role is again?
  5. I currently have zero warning posts, so I'm ready to rock whenever.
  6. You guys member when the bullpen was so rested that Berrios got pulled after 84 pitches?
  7. Holy crap, can this thread be locked? I saw it in the recent posts list and almost had heart failure.
  8. While Stewart's Ks per 9 are nice, it's the BBs per 9 and the SO/W ratio that's got me impressed.
  9. I couldn't agree more, and it's not as if there is a platoon partner that moves the needle at all.
  10. Nice analysis, but I don't think you're giving Hildy the credit he deserves ... I think it's actually 7 for 7 on inherited runners. Minor quibble, but let's give him credit for all of it. Haha (that's actually a sad laugh).
  11. Living legend? I think that's pushing it just a smidge. http://s2.quickmeme.com/img/fa/fa7d713d9a2a2fb1624cc4ee86cad0231dcf07c6288c5f18e8dfa4e0a72466a6.jpg
  12. I'm really hoping this is just him turning the corner. A lot of people were ready to give up on him because we've heard about him for so long, but the guy is still only 23.
  13. That he's being reprimanded or that those two aren't sharing an OF?
  14. LaMarre in LF for Eddie. Robert at DH for Weapon X. Adrianza at SS for Eddie the Stick. Garver at C for Castro.
  15. I like to think of Phil starting at any level to be more of a disaster.
  16. Twins clubhouse this morning while Molly was penciling LaMarre and Grossman into the starting lineup.
  17. I think we're all a little right to worry. Even before today. The end for most older pitchers doesn't come gradually.
  18. Some of us had a hunch and started early just in case.
  19. Nothing to worry about. The guys on the thread the other day told me I was overreacting. All pitchers hit their stride at 41.
