  1. Stewart with a 10.9K/9 through 3 starts. last year he only had a 9k/9 in ONE of his 22 starts. so far this year, he has had a 9k/9 or better in all 3 games... The potential Ace is coming out! I couldnt care less about the 4 singles today, his WHIP is stilll only 0.81 on the year. Lets see if Tyler can match him tmr in games with K/9 over 9 nice to see LaMonte starting up another hit streak would like to see some other guys start to hit.. frustrating watching FM, CHATT, and ROC..
  2. something wrong with Depth, Seth? most likely one or 2 will bust, Ricky Nolasco pitches like a girl and I think the jury might be out on Hughes.. but yes he'd be behind those 3 prospect wise
  3. He was first round talent actually, then when he was suspended half of his senior year he dropped to 4th. it was a steal
  4. I'd say third, better than Rosario, Jay and Steele.. Rosario and Jay could argue better starts though i suppose
  5. Valera has been interesting, lots of XBH blowing up that OPS.. not too often do you see a little middle infielder with 6XBH outa 8 hits.. I have a feeling LaMonte Wade may find himself in the twins top 10 prospects by midseason and possibly a top 100 by the end of the year.. gonna be fun to watch how he can keep it up. Also i saw today Chih Wei Hu has 9 shut out innings and 14 strike outs. I still think that trade bites us in the ass.
  6. WOW! watch every game on the app but I've never even noticed the bullpen has been better than the starters! thats an awesome stat. take out the 3 run homer Gonsalves gave up 1st inning of the year and it'd be 1.17 for the starters.. love that staff
  7. yea I agree I just meant IF he turns into a bust Meyer could hop in front of him.. I personally think Duffey should be in the MLB right now but i'm fine seeing how he pitches down in AAA for a club actually trying to win
  8. Luis Arraez has struck out 19 times in 382 career PA's...not bad for a kid who turned 19 five days ago..
  9. As long as that group is together Fort Myers will have the pitcher of the day almost every day! best staff in MiLB and its a 6 man! can't even fit Sam Gibbons on it, wild... I'm also VERY happy to see the Twins are throwing Meyer back out there as a starter! I think he's better fit as a starter because of the control problems. starters get the time to get in rhythm and I feel the lack of getting in rhythm is why hes walked so many out of the pen. in his first APP i remember he walked a couple his first inning then control was much better the next 3 innings. with a good possibility that Duffy is a bust, nice to see them give Meyer a chance to possibly take over Milone's spot in the future unless thats Berrios's to take. I'm not so sure Ricky/Hughes/Milone can hold their spot down if Meyer and Berrios pitch lights out in AAA.. Hughes most likely stays but if he gives up the Hrs like last year there could be problems.. Final thing here, how long until the Twins realize Jason Chargois should be in the MLB pen? could EASILY replace Fien. even Perkins if Perk doesn't get that velocity back up to around 94..
  10. come on seth, let us have soomething good to think about while the t'''''''''ins keep losing
  11. I agree with Rosario on this board tho. Jorge pry will have a good year but he's had a couple good ones already, Rosario hasn't had much on his resume
  12. Lewis Thorpe gonna get to start at all this year? should be pitching by May? throw him in 10-15 pitches first couple outings then 3 innings/40 pitches for a couple games then I'd start him and have him throw 65 pitches/5 innings each start until august then get him 5-6 solid 80-85 pitch starts.. Is that close to what they plan on doing you think?
  13. according to this article, i would take Quantril in a heartbeat because of chance of becoming an ace.. the Twins could use something like that. as much as we all want Berrios to be an ace, realistically I think he'll be a 2..
  14. really excited with Nick Gordon, Daniel Palka and LaMonte Wade so far. Chris Paul and Polanco hitting well too but I'm still disappointed with Max Kepler having 10 ABs so far this year. get that kid some playing time in AAA. He's so raw still coming off his first truly great season, make him prove himself... Anyways, cheers to the best rotation in the FSL.
  15. reading this now and realizing the A's wouldn't have traded Zobrist AND clipart for that
  16. compare Go-Go's MLB stats to Buxtons minor league stats
  17. 2nd overall picks********** and Gomez is an All star, wouldn't say Buxton is on a different level. If Buck became Carlos Gomez i would be very content
  18. what do you presume the Twins do, cut him and pay him 23 million not to play?
  19. huge difference between Santana and Rosario. Santana had a BABIP over .400 and was due to regress. the only thing with rosario is will those triples mostly turn to doubles. I think he only gets 7 or 8 triples but more doubles. Murphy will be in MLB. him and Suzuki should split ABs, from what i hear Murphy > Suzuki with the glove
  20. no. these aren't Valid points. But, I would keep santana over Kepler if its being a bench player. if the Twins brought up Kepler to come off the bench i would protest every single home game at the stadium. -already have a 20 game package if i need to protest.........You can't compare Keplers 2015 to Santanas 2014. Santana had a CRAZY BABIP and was due to regress. and his .830 is OPS wasn't near Keplers .950
  21. how can people even be talking about dumping Nunez, the guy hit .282 with a .758 OPS
