    I've been to the Trop a handful of times. It's a complete dump, worse than the Metrodome. Horrible atmosphere to watch a game in. I legitimately feel bad for the players, particularly Rays players that have to deal with it every home game.

    We're probably better off this way anyway. I know that I'd never be able to afford to outbid a MLB player for his wife. In all seriousness though, I always look forward to these. I've never won anything, but it's always neat to see what they have. I usually stop and browse when they have tables or a booth set up in the concourses at Target Field as well. They usually have a pretty good collection of stuff for all of their fundraisers.

    While certainly an interesting talker, I'm of the opinion at this point to hold onto him until the offseason and pursue a trade partner then. That will bring any team trying to aggressively improve over the offseason into play. Considering the fact that he wasn't dealt prior to the deadline, I doubt any team would make a deal for the Twins asking price. Injuries change things, but I'm not sure dealing him at this point makes a lot of sense from the Twins perspective.

    Yup, just seems like this team is a bit more extreme than most. That's all I'm trying to say. It seems that when it rains, it pours. It's just a matter of who's doing the pouring.

    Agreed, not suggesting they would. The day in, day out inconsistency of this team is my point. They look like world beaters one day, and look as inept as a tee ball team the next.
