  1. For this team you mean? Seems like they've been legal for others for some time.
  2. Seems. Like a twingo is virtually assured for you!
  3. I haven't watched the NFL in over a decade, but I still have my standards!
  4. Well played... I liked this under protest, however!
  5. The MLB Ballpark app has them. You can even play from home!
  6. Ok, maybe I've changed my mind. Google just informed me that the Packers themed shoes from earlier this week have dropped in price! I'm dead serious, I'm not even joking.
  7. Keep it up! Maybe someone will start giving you kickbacks!
  8. 20 years ago, I too was still 3 years away from enjoying the burden that is student loan debt, only to add even more more a year later when my wife would complete her doctorate and add to mine. Within a three week span, I had gotten married, accepted a new job in MPLS, and moved to the Twin Cities from Fargo. Those were the days...
  9. Yet another beautiful night for baseball here in the Twin Cities!
  10. I rather enjoy this Game Thread Shopping Network bit.
  11. I didn't plan for Kirilloff, Kepler or Sano to be anywhere but the bottom third of the order. I like Correa in the 2 hole. It's leadoff, #3 and #4 spots that I can configure in a couple of ways depending on matchups. Arraez, Buxton and Polanco can round out the top 5 just fine. I figured that Sanchez would be flipped, and that hasn't happened. And he's kind of what blows up most of the way that I'd build the bottom of the order. But I had hoped that Kirilloff would step up and produce and possibly move up, but I certainly wasn't planning on it.
  12. I heard this same story! It keeps getting better each time I read it! ?
  13. I was looking more at Jeffers vs Garver, but that's not an unfair comp either. Especially since it backs my point!
  14. My thesaurus says "see also, trying". Hope this helps!
  15. I'm fairly confident that they will warm up eventually. That said, they need to get healthy in order to do that too and that's not a given. Heading into the season, I was figuring that Kirilloff would be a constant in the lineup and thrive. I also expect more out of Buxton, Correa, Polanco and Jeffers. I expect all will start hitting relatively soon. Kirilloff being out an extended period hurts those odds, in my view. I don't expect Sanchez to be anything more than what he is currently. Not sure what to make of Urshela yet. Kepler is a complete wild card. Sano will heat up at the end of June like he usually does. If Kirilloff is out for a while, Sano will play plenty. Key departures from last years lineup are Garver and Donaldson. I don't see either or both of those seriously impacting the lineups productivity if they were here. It would be better, but not by leaps and bounds to this point in the season.
  16. That's pretty much what I was saying, or at least trying to say. My comment was just geared more towards the comment that I was replying to regarding the direction that the PTNBL was representing.
  17. I love the journey this took us on!
  18. In fairness, PTBNLs are more likely to be long term acquisitions in the first place. Plus, the headliners of the trade were clearly for now, so looking down the road isn't a bad thing.
  19. If I didn't see it for myself, I wouldn't believe it either kid!
  20. I don't recall that, but that doesn't mean it wasn't the case. But more importantly, from what I can tell, Dougie hasn't been in baseball since getting fired from Toledo in 2019. So I don't think that I'd consider him the answer either if that's your argument.
  21. And from what I can tell, Doug hasn't been in baseball since he got fired from the Mud Hens in 2019.
  22. Great to see Ryan answer the bell. It would have been fun to see if he would have gone out for another inning if he were stretched out more.
  23. Misery loves company! Bring on the weekend series! And hopefully some decent weather!
