  1. Happy 4th of July my fellow fans. I am at work, but leaving soon to go home to watch this over dinner then out to see fireworks.
  2. I would not mind an insurance run or three. Or get 5 and bring in Graham.
  3. Maybe it's because Gibson is lights out good tonight?
  4. This pitcher is wild. Our batters need to be patient.
  5. The shift is really paying off tonight.
  6. Duck shawarama, momo chips and pickled Mediterranean vegetables.
  7. Nice shift! Dinner here I come.
  8. Now let's get a DP so I can go get dinner.
  9. That makes sense in Michigan. Less so here.
  10. After suffering two significant injuries from sliding head first and a concussion, does it makes sense to require Buxton to slide feet first for a while?
  11. At least KC is trailing in Oakland -- 0 to 2 in the 4th.
  12. Dozier strikes out looking on a fastball right down the middle of the plate.
  13. Today's game reminds me of this:
  14. When I was 6 years old we had a huge tree in the front yard and one summer there were thousands of crows hanging out there. Eventually the adults agreed that one of our neighbors would some over and take care of the situation with a shotgun. About 10 crows fell to the ground, dead and dying, and the rest flew away and never returned. After that the Hitchcock movie was no longer scary for me.
  15. Mauer was lucky not to get injured from that half slide.
  16. Yes, multiple deadlines plus I had a big meeting out of town. Tomorrow I am hoping that a huge deal closes so that I can focus on closing a deal that I have been working on for almost a year.
  17. Today is my first day off from work in two weeks. It's good to have a day off.
  18. I am stuck at the office all day today, but am enjoying the commentary here. Can someone explain what went wrong with Trevor May last night? Did he appear injured?
  19. I wonder if there is any science as to which is better. Edit: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12855927 http://www.thinkbluela.com/index.php/2014/05/05/to-slide-or-to-dive-the-multi-million-dollar-question/ The second link seems correct to me.
  20. I have not been able to focus on this until now. Did it appear that May is injured?
  21. Geez. The Twins are not looking sharp tonight.
  22. This game is reminding me a little of last year.
  23. OK, now if I can bet my winnings on #3 on the roulette wheel and can win 5 times in a row then I can make the Pohlads an offer that they would not refuse. Have a great night all.
