    I hope that Dean continues to develop and eventually gets a chance with the Twins (and that Nolasco has some great games and gets traded for a strong prospect).

    Berrios pitched a 3 hit shutout for the Lookouts today and had 8 Ks.

    Milone pitched a great game in Rochester today -- 8 innings, 3 hits, no runs and 12 Ks.

    This was a tough loss and by the time I got to a TV it was over. I will stay at the office until midnight tomorrow if necessary for the Twins to win. At least I provided a useful straight line by referring to GSTT. I have managed to read the game thread and it was very fun.

    All that I am sure of at the moment is that I still have hours of work to complete before tomorrow but am too tired to get it all done.

    What I hate the most is when the Air Force planes buzz the ballpark. They are too loud and they fly too close to my beverage.

    I think this depends on how much you like 3D in general. For me, this one was not nearly as good as the original Avengers movie.

    In those days our standards were very low. It was not until RB invented the current format (and raised expectations) that game threads became art. Before RB, we were all struggling to arise from the primordial slime. Thanks for the history ChiTown. This was an excellent idea that you executed well. It was interesting and brought back fond memories of a culture that was in the process of evolving. Also, I want to echo the Mother's Day sentiments that have been expressed. I miss my mom every day, and urge everyone whose mother is living to make the most of your ability to communicate your love.

    I don't think that it is possible to measure Molitor's contribution, but my sense is that he may be accountable for some of the current "lucky streak." It's also possible that Torii has made it his mission to persuade younger players that the Twins can win the division. This is pure speculation on my part, but it seems possible that good things are happening in the clubhouse that are not being reported.

    I have not felt so happy about the Twins for years. This may not last, but I am enjoying it 110% for as long as possible.

    There was a time when I might have gone for Penny Marshall. We have often debated Mary Ann and Ginger, but never LaVerne and Shirley. I wonder why.
