  1. I like the Royals' announcers. They always have insights about the Twins that are interesting.
  2. While listening to the song Blue Moon lying next to one of those blue women from Star Trek.
  3. I wish I had the Mariners' feed. The Twins announcers are not good.
  4. I need a win tonight. I wish we had a better bullpen.
  5. Moderator note -- if you do not realize that this thread is tongue in cheek then please do not post here.
  6. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/25253688/look-andrew-mccutchen-drives-in-three-with-little-league-home-run Geez.
  7. It looks like Santana had a bad outing and the offense was mediocre. Let's hope that the Twins can turn it around soon.
  8. I wish that Sano would NEVER slide head first, unless it is in a World Series game. Not worth the risk.
  9. At least Graham is looking good today. Graham seems to have a lot of potential.
  10. I don't see the connection between Molitor being ejected and the Twins losing. I did not see any subsequent bias from the home plate ump. It seems to me that the biggest lesson of this game is that Perk needs to be more deceptive against great hitters.
  11. Perkins tried to blow the ball past A-Rod. If Perk had not blown the save we would be celebrating now.
  12. Good point, but hindsight is 20-20.
  13. This is fun to look at. Thanks for sharing it.
  14. I think that the warning track in Anaheim is comprised of the same substance as the infield. I have seen Torii make harder catches on that same warning track (in Torii's gold glove years), sometimes using the padding on the wall to reduce his chances of an injury. It also seemed to me that Hicks was not concentrating 100% when the ball was hit and that he should have reacted more quickly and had a better sense of where the wall was. I am hoping that Torii is giving him good advice.
  15. The play where the ball bounced between Santana and Dozier seemed to me to suggest a lack of hustle and the play where Hicks fell down on the warning track seemed to me to suggest a lack of hustle and concentration.
  16. Tonight's game was another disappointment. I attended and it seemed to me that the defense was sloppy and there was a lack of energy.
  17. I attended the game last night and was disappointed by the overall lack of energy and the failure of the hitters to be patient. I will be at the game tonight and hoping for better.
  18. I will probably wear a Killebrew T shirt. It has been lucky in the past.
  19. I will be at the game tonight cheering for victory.
  20. This has been debated in other threads and the overwhelming consensus is that the risk to Mauer's long-term health is unacceptable. Whether or not you agree, let's not resurrect that debate here.
  21. It seems to me that maybe a three team trade might work. If TR can find a team that absolutely craves players who TR is willing to trade, then maybe that team will be willing to trade someone who the Padres, Giants or Brewers would take for a catcher.
  22. Moderator note -- I have taken care of the trolling. Please never respond to trolling.
  23. We have a winner! I love going to games with fellow Twins fans.
