    I think Sano and Rosario decided to have a contest to see who could have the taller pop up. I would have told them to not have that contest.

    I like how they keep showing the replay of Garcia getting hit. I'm not a big fan of anyone getting hit, but I don't mind as much when the person getting hit plays for the White Sox.

    Like diehardtwinsfan said, it would be a 1st round pick for the Twins. If things were to stay the same in the drafting order, the Twins would have to give up the 20th overall pick. Depending on the number of players that get QO's, that would put the Twins picking somewhere around 50 (give or take a few picks) for their first draft pick if they were to sign him. If the Twins pull ahead of Texas they would slide down to pick #21 if everything else stayed the same. I definitely wouldn't give up that pick for Wieters on a 1 year deal.

    Ha! I was thinking the same thing! I'd also like to point out that Texas has played slightly worse at home than on the road. Home: 32-32 Away: 41-34 So, maybe a 10 games at home won't be a good thing for them... Who knows though.

    I also want to thank everyone who makes these reports happen. They are my favorite part of TD, and I check them every day. Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to reading about the minor leagues in the seasons to come.

    Just a few other names that could end up being there in 5 years or so: Trey Cabbage Ruar Verkerk This doesn't include any SS that are in the system that might outgrow that position. I'm not saying that I expect these guys to end up being major league players though. There could be some other guy we draft or sign next year as well. I don't think it's a big deal yet.

    I don't know, it might give the guy a little buzz. It is a cardiac stimulant after all. Either way, it might not necessarily be that he needs treatment for the particular drug, rather the behavior. But, I would assume that his tenor with the Twins is most likely over.

    I doubt we'll point to this game and say that it was "the one" that cost use a playoff spot. There have been a few blown leads this season. Saying that this particular one was the breaking point would be a bit much.
