  1. The way I see it, Hoyer's not going anywhere unless the Cubbies win the world series. Unless that happens (which it almost certainly won't, because they're the cubs), he'd stick around, because everyone wants to be a part of that party.
  2. Well, I sure read that wrong.
  3. Two in a row! Take that, Sale! Twins still own you.
  4. If Berrios ever goes back down, imma act a fool up in here.
  5. Well, what if the mascots get into it and the Phillie Phanatic takes off his big shoe and starts wailing on Youppie with it? That would be pretty sweet.
  6. I am not sure whether this is preposterous or not, so be nice, but... The Yanks could use a 3b, so given his sophomore struggles, is there any chance Luis Severino could be had for Plouffe +? I guess they probably don't want to sell low, so nevermind. *clicks Post* "NO!!"
  7. Ozzie Guillen for Manager. It's gonna be a bloodbath.
  8. I've always been a huge fan of delayed gratification. Let that glory age like a fine wine!
  9. Agreed, wholeheartedly.
  10. Somebody's been bitten by the positivity bug!
  11. Jepsen's really got to take his uniform to a tailor.
  12. Just what the Sam Hill is going on right now?
  13. Anyone watching the Astros? Rasmus is wearing Sting makeup.
  14. Wunderbar. Simlply wunderbar.
  15. You guys, I'm over here bein' so friggin gung ho for byung ho, I could just plotz.
  16. Do you mean to tell me that you lived the movie Rockstar starring Timothy Spall shot-for-shot?
  17. Ah, I envy you. I've made that trip many times myself. Always a blast. Here are some tips to help ensure things go smoothly: 1. Be Frugal: If some wise ass general store clerk tries to get into your head with some enigmatic ox to yoke conversion rate, just tell him to go fly a kite. 2. Family Planning: Do you have kids? Not anymore. Now, you have Dysentery. Start saying your goodbyes. 3. Hazards: As I'm sure you know, you're going to cross a river or two (or six LOL). Don't bother packing a raft. There's always going to be one lying around when you need it. 4. Hygiene: I recommend ~15 pounds of soap for the trip. If you're going by the book, it's advised that you bring 25 lbs, but if it's just you and your wife...don't sweat it. Anyway, you won't need that much because you'll more than likely die of exhaustion anyway...and cholera. 5. Recreation: You're going to want to do some hunting on your way out there. DO NOT kill more than you can fit on your wagon. Or do. Whatever, I guess. It'll be the highlight of your trip. Happy trails!
  18. For one thing, they would sure have a lot of ground to cover.
  19. In the past, when I've taken that approach with my managers, I've tended to get fired.
