  1. Everyday is Peanut Butter day in my home. It's one of my staples. Whenever I don't want to fix a proper meal, or am too tired to, or just don't know what I want, it's peanut butter toast. Any kind of coffee, 'Irished up' or otherwise, meh. Unless it's truly quality, rich, fine coffee and not that bitter, burnt swill Starbucks serves.
  2. Is this the last one? I've lost track. Because, winter.
  3. But there isn't truth driving these feelings. There is false rhetoric and misinformation that is. Immigrants aren't taking jobs away, but companies moving their businesses overseas for cheap labor is. I find blaming unions and immigrants and the poor easy and disingenuous.
  4. And is horrible for workers and the middle class.
  5. Okay, since we're throwing out cheeses to try instead of talking about blonde brownies ... which aren't brownies but just dessert bars cut into squares, I mean really ... Gjetost. Awesome! It's somewhat a required taste although not overly sharp or pungent, but it's denser as it's made from the whey instead of the curd. It's a Scandinavian goat cheese. It's great with fruit or on toasted bread/bagel/whatever. I've even made grilled cheese and apple sandwiches with it. Really. It's amazing stuff!
  6. Impressive and inspiring! Seth, I can't say it enough ... these interviews are the best! Will you ever do anymore live interviews like you did one year from ST?
  7. Go eat some cheese and celebrate yourself.
  8. Eat some cheese and celebrate yourself.
  9. I'm 54 and my mix isn't aggressive ... but it's not a conservative mix, either.
  10. Personally, I don't really care but I think both leagues should play by the same rules, whether it's no DH or DH. Yeah, I know, some say that this is what distinguishes the leagues, and it does, but I think if we are going to have as much inter-league play as we do, it should be the same. I don't think teams should be 'hampered' in any way during the season by being 'forced' to alter their style of play, especially pitchers. While some might argue that's what makes it 'fun' or 'interesting,' or that professionals should be able to adapt, I think it gives a strong advantage to the home teams.
  11. Yay! I can buy a single team package? So just Twins games, and for a lot less?
  12. Welcome back! Hope parenthood is agreeing with you!
  13. Oy ... Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump today ... dumb and dumber.
  14. Sarah Palin.
  15. It's too cold to go up the street to Garrett's so will have to make do with what's in the vending machine ...
  16. Ack! Please! No one say GMTA to me! I need to be cleansed!
  17. Garrett's caramel crisp popcorn. THE best! Of those I've tried. I'm not a fan of the Chicago mix ... a mixed back of cheese and caramel crisp. It's okay, but I'd rather just have the caramel crisp.
  18. Okay, here's something I've been curious about this whole time ... Ted Cruz ... where's the 'birther outcry' on him? Seriously. He wasn't born in this country. His citizenship is listed as dual. Isn't it a 'law' that the president must be born in this country? I think it's time to rethink that law, but for now, that's what it is. There was outcry, huge outcry, that Obama wasn't born in this country. He did prove that he was, but still. Where's the outcry for Cruz not being born in this country? And why/how can he run if this is still the law?
  19. This is a big problem in this country. On both sides. 'I've always voted this way, I'll always vote this way' or 'My parents always vote this way, so I will, too,' regardless of what individual candidates stand for. I'm certainly guilty of voting for a particular party in national elections, sometimes regardless, due to issues that I've already expressed many times over.
  20. ooou ... Carl Pavano! This is getting better all the time!
  21. Ugh, please ... don't give TN and GCTF any encouragement!
