  1. There was no might about it in this case, although I do applaud the two or three of you who were creative and fun about it.
  2. One of my favorite flavors of B&J's was Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. Then it became Coffee Toffee Crunch ... or something like that. It wasn't as good. It was RUINED! <sadface> I do like a good coffee ice cream, though. Yum! Books ... not really reading anything right now.
  3. I know ... but based on jimmer's post above ... what else is there? For some of us, like me, I cling to that because I'd rather think about that than the other. And I know I'm putting too many, if not all, my eggs in the basket of 'Maybe with a new regime change...' but that is a complete unknown, one way or the other. In the end ... it's just a game. That's all it's ever been for me. Sometimes fun, sometimes not. But back to Dozier ... if they trade him, all I have to say is they better get GREAT! for him or who knows what I'll do. If they don't get GREAT! they need to find a way to put better pieces (i.e. pitching) around him, and not sure how they'll do that if we continue to 'wait' for pitching to come through the pipe and don't make a trade using something good we have. Edit: And Brock kinda ninja'd me with his post above.
  4. Yes ... but why go back and drag up an old discussion of 'Why didn't we trade for Cueto?' and then start making that the focus instead of the peripheral. We are talking about the now, not the then. And I think I made that clear this is about DOZIER and to trade or not to trade him.
  5. Let's stick to topic here ... Dozier, trade or not trade, future ... not what the Twins should have done at my suggestion and didn't and look where they could be now.
  6. Here, too ...http://twinsdaily.com/topic/22195-zander-wiel-2016/?hl=wiel As a reminder that our adopt-a-prospect forum has useful information when you see a name mentioned in theses reports.
  7. I was never a huge prospect follower before TD. Reading everything you guys crank out has changed my baseball scope immensely. Now when I take my parents to the occasional Miracle game, I can tell them a little bit about who's who. Thank you!
  8. Really, 370 views is nobody? So, based on what you said, you want to rant all over everything for the sole purpose of being seen by the most number of people? Lots of people do read the blogs. They might not comment as much but they do read them.
  9. Yes, the timing is good for me as well ... ... ...
  10. Sit ups? Who does sit ups anymore? Ball curls and planks are my nemeses.
  11. Great read ... thanks for the link.
  12. Lol ... you are such a brat! But in a good way.
  13. If that's quality beer there, I really disapprove of this kind of celebrating. It's wasteful. If it's cheap beer, okay, carry on.
  14. Actually ... I would think the fast food places would be more worried, as that's how I view food trucks ... higher quality fast food. If I want a dining experience, I'll go to a restaurant, but if I want quick, I'm not going to a sit-down place, it's a fast food place or a convenience mart. That's the market for food trucks ... not vs an actual restaurant.
  15. Nice ... there's no place to really do that in the Loop ... and it's not the whole length of Wacker ... just for two blocks ... don't know the rules about that, either, if you have to pay to park there or if it's first come, first serve. There was this cupcake food truck that used to stop in my neighborhood ... not sure where that went, but omg, yum! And funny enough, there's an ice cream truck that comes by in the summer ... with the ice cream truck music and all!
  16. yeah ... here, too ... they line up along Wacker Dr over the lunch hour on weekdays ... unfortunately, I don't work close enough, or get enough of a lunch break, to partake
  17. Me, too ... at least you don't have to live among them. Thankfully Kenny Williams moved out of my building years ago.
  18. Well, we all know which one is me.
  19. You had me at 'mini donuts' And since food trucks are in the news these days ... there's a food truck around Chicago that serves up the most awesome mini donuts!
  20. And that, as they say, is that
  21. Well, in Chief's case it's old dinosaurs and new tricks.
  22. Ha ... how many players make that hit a stand up double?
  23. When did Alexei Ramirez get traded? Was that in the off season?
