    I'd say no, too, but that's part of negotiation. What did the Dodgers come back with then? JDL and what? Who? From what we're hearing that if it was something it wasn't anything of real consequence. So, the Twins say no. If the Dodgers aren't going to offer up much beyond the one (and I didn't say only that one), you walk. Not because you think you'll get more later, but because it's not a good deal, and if you took it you'd be making a deal just to make a deal. One unproven player doesn't make us better enough this coming year or the next.

    Hmm ... I would greatly enhance my music skills, GREATLY, like, Yo Yo Ma greatly. But I also like the stock market skills Mike mentioned, so yeah, give me those. People skills, lots of them. Okay ... I really don't know. Like Craig, I can't really remember 25. Oh, wait ... 25 was a bad year. BIG breakup. I'd like the skills to see that coming to minimize damage.

    Yeah, I've been getting that. I've also been getting a lot of redirects on my desktop using Chrome. I switched back to Firefox and hasn't been an issue, so I'm thinking that's more a Chrome thing than a TD thing.

    No ... I have never eaten at a Taco Bell, ever. It just does not seem appealing ... particularly here in Chicago when you have taco trucks and taquerias everyhwere.

    You are probably right. Those who are interested in a particular education or already prioritize that higher, will likely take the college route anyway. Don't know. But then, I'm not really into football so I don't really care.

    I also am dubious of the NCAA ... that said, I'm not sure this new league has the players' best interests at heart, either. It almost encourages them to abandon their education or at least prioritize it much lower. <shrug> Whatever, might be interesting to see how it develops.

    I don't think that's the argument ... I think the argument is how much will it help ... and that will depend on the return. And that's where we all disagree and I don't think there's a bridge large enough to connect us.
