    With Santana and Berrios pitching games 1,2-6,7, yes, I could see a deep playoff run. And as long as there was a competent bp, maybe we could get another win in there. However, getting to the playoffs requires more than a 1-2 punch in starting pitching. But without Santana there is no hope of either. As the team stands now, we need him to get us there.

    Van, that's the kind of concert that I'd likely be working at, but you could hit me up for tickets and we could meet up after for drinks. Now, the concert we could go to together would be a Steve n Seagull concert. I mean, who doesn't like a little bluegrass with their rock?

    Starting pitcher, as in the pitcher who starts the game? If Dallas Keuchel's trip to the DL isn't anything serious, I would think he would get the nod. But I would expect Erv to make the squad for sure. Based on performances thus far.

    See ... I think it's in the ear of the beholder because I thought LaTroy seemed stiff and unsure. Willing to give him more time to adjust because I think he'll be good ... but I didn't think he was all that the first series he did the games. And I haven't heard him since.

    My extra innings package doesn't always give me that choice ... only during times when there aren't a lot of games going on at the same time do they give you both options.
