  1. And now another one ... still State Farm but a different ad. Same spot. And I finished typing that and waited 5-10 seconds for it to catch up with me.
  2. I'm experiencing periods of slowness ... even in typing let alone posting. And I'm getting audio ads ... and can't seem to mute them, either. Just had a State Farm ad go by in the upper right-hand position.
  3. Glad I went to the movies instead. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was fantastic, excellent, really darn good.
  4. Maybe Sunday. Out with a friend tonight and working tomorrow night. Waiting for the movie to start. Seeing that Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children movie. Tim Burton. Looks good. Hoping it is.
  5. Um ... you should always wait for the editor to wake up before posting. Now your post makes little sense. I know what you mean, though.
  6. And by the way, y'all need to post that mascot race video here on TD for those who don't tweet and Twitter.
  7. Thanks, all, for a great event! Of the three pub crawls I've participated in, I think this one was the best! Good job ... and lots of fun!
  8. Guess I missed that, too. This is why I watch little TV. I miss an episode or two then just don't ever catch up.
  9. I wanted to check it out but was busy so will have to do the On Demand thing. Any good?
  10. 1. I don't remember ever asking my parents for spending money, ever. I didn't really have a need for 'fun' money as much of my free time was spent practicing over partying. Not that I never partied, just well below the average I'm sure. I did work, picking up shifts here and there when advertised with food service; and I had an on-campus job 3 of my 4 years in school. That seemed to be enough. 2. Yes, well ... 3. Hmmm ... no comment. 4. This I could really see you doing and wouldn't be surprised if this were truth. 5. Aww, shucks.
  11. Yeah ... and that's the age difference between you and Ash so ... you got it about right. I don't watch anything with any regularity anymore. Not even Netflix series or whatnot. And I don't get premium channels so nothing on any of those. The only thing I watched regularly last year and really laughed at it was 'Life in Pieces.' Can't wait for season two. And the way they filmed it was great ... was 3 or 4 little related vignettes. Was just funny. And on all age/life levels. Was good. <shrug> We each have our own. I've watched four pilots so far this new season and nothing has truly grabbed me. I'd say 'The Good Life' was the most ... unique? ... if that, but will likely go to the 'meh' pile next week along with the others. And I might watch the next episode of 'This is Us' mostly because it was rated so well ... I want to really know what it's about. If it's just another episode of presenting unrelated characters full of melodrama ... big pass.
  12. Well, I'm pretty much in the 'no interest' category with 'This is Us' after that first episode, but reviews eluded to some 'bigger purpose' of these characters ... just don't know what and therefore have no clue what the show is even about other than melodrama.
  13. I was so-so on Lethal Weapon. I'll watch 'The Good Place' a bit just to see where it goes but I'm really not sure about it. It was ... different ... I'll give it that. Watched 'This is Us' which has gotten good reviews but for the life of me I can't figure out what it's about. I think the first episode was just introducing characters and giving a glimpse at where they are in their lives, but have no clue how these characters intersect and what this show is about.
  14. Would they, could they do this? I like the idea myself. It's not unheard of in my world when there are two positions open, one of a higher title, to offer the 'runner up' the lesser role.
  15. Yeah. And then there are some of us who can't be made to do anything we don't want to do despite his rules.
  16. That's been getting high praise. I don't even know what the premise is, it just looks like a mushy drama.
  17. So, Van ... what's on tonight? I mean ... lately ... I haven't been checking out my TV Guide because you have provided for me here.
  18. I'm not a fan of Kevin James. But I like both Kristen Bell and Ted Danson,M that's why I'll probably check it out. But later. I'm off to imbibe some margaritas on Monday.
  19. Actually, for me ... it's Margarita Monday. So if I'm going to be checking out anything new it'll be with On Demand.
  20. lol ... I laughed at it. But then, whatever ... I don't really watch much television anymore other than movies and hgtv. I'm looking forward to season 2 of Life in Pieces. And I wanted to check out the Kieffer Sutherland series. Other than that ... maybe ... Pitch? Dunno.
  21. I'll check out the Kristen Bell series. I laughed at the previews ... but ... that could get old quick. The others? Meh.
